We had beautiful weather for our summer fair. Thanks to everyone who came and everyone involved in making it an amazing fair.

Some of the amazing work by our students that is displayed around the school.

This year's Spelling Bee took place this Wednesday at Milnrow Parish Primary School with the ARCH Collaborative

MP Liz McInnes and Councillor Ray Dutton brought in books for our new school library and shared these with our Reception children who really enjoyed meeting them.

We had a lovely family visit to our new Woodland area. They helped our children with the bulb and flower planting.

The children planted bulbs kindly donated by B & Q  Bury in the new Woodland area.

World Book Day was the opening of our new Library.

The library, which was opened in memory of Mrs Elaine Dutton a much loved and respected Governor, Volunteer and Friend of St Margaret’s was opened by Mr Ray Dutton, his daughter Sarah Cadogan and was attended by the school governors.

Every body thought the new setting for the library was wonderful.

We had a wonderful time dressing up for World Book Day. How many characters can you spot?

Maggie the St Margaret's Gorilla who had been subjected to a senseless act of vandalism is now back in her natural habitat in the schools nature garden she is battered , bruised but unbowed. This was thanks to the hard work of 2 Year 6 pupils who used plaster of Paris to repair all her injuries. Welcome back Maggie!!

Heart Smart (Boris) visited our school

HeartSmart is a new approach that primary schools use to build character, emotional health and resilience in children.

It is a creative way of enabling children to adopt a growth mindset whilst maintaining a healthy emotional epicentre. It works on the evidence based theory that increasing relational connection empowers children to flourish and achieve more. At its core, HeartSmart is about loving and accepting ourselves as well as loving and responding well to others.

Boris, HeartSmart’s very own purpose-built Robot, provides a fun, interactive and dynamic way for children to explore their hearts, the very thing that makes them unique.

End of year Ice Cream Party and the last duty for Year 6
