Uniform
At St Margaret’s parents and carers are encouraged to buy uniform that is best value for money. Supermarkets usually stock our colours at a very reasonable cost as well.

Parents have various options where they can purchase our school uniform this year - Please see attached leaflets
1. Jumpers/Cardigan & Fleeces are now available to purchase from Frank Blakeley's on Buckley Street in Heywood
2. Free preloved uniform is available from Heywood Uniform Hub - These are contactable through Facebook or email.
3. All uniform (including polo shirts, coats & book bags etc) is available from Moses Schoolwear on Oldham Road in Rochdale
Parents and Carers may buy school uniform items from wherever they wish, but please stick to the school colours and styles. If you want polo shirts, sweatshirts or cardigans with our school logo, these can be obtained at reasonable prices either from the school office or direct from Moses Schoolwear Store in Rochdale (on Oldham Road, Rochdale Town Centre Tel 01706 644447).

Cold weather
Grey skirt, tunic, trousers
Royal Blue sweatshirt or cardigan (to be either plain blue or with school logo only – please ensure it is the correct colour)
Yellow polo shirt with or without logo– please ensure it is the correct colour
Socks, tights etc as preferred in plain colour– no bright colours or patterns
Non PE Days: Dark shoes (sensible and safe with a grip – no slip on or trainers)
Warmer weather
Summer dress in yellow or blue check or stripe
Grey shorts if so wished – plain only
Sports Kit (To be worn all day on PE Days)
T shirt (plain white with no logo)
Shorts (plain black/blue with no logo )
Socks (plain – no bright colours or patterns)
Pumps or trainers (as you wish)
Jogger bottoms and school jumper can be worn outside
Other:
Hair accessories must be reasonable size and in school colours – blue, yellow, white and black
Long hair to be tied back in school
No jewellery (except watches)
Ear-rings – Small studs only (child needs to be able to remove these themselves during P.E.)
