Hello and a very warm welcome to our school website!
I’m Mrs. McShane, and I’m incredibly proud to be the Headteacher here at St. Margaret’s. Although I’m new to the role, I’ve been part of this wonderful school family since 2009, and it truly feels like home. St. Margaret’s is a place where relationships matter, where children thrive, and where learning is brought to life every single day.

Our school is built on a firm Christian foundation of love, care, creativity, and high aspirations. We are proud of our dedicated and talented staff, who go above and beyond to provide a rich, exciting education for every child. Their commitment to our pupils, families, and wider community is the heartbeat of our school, and their passion for learning and curriculum development continues to drive our success.

At St. Margaret’s, we believe that learning should be joyful, meaningful, and memorable. I’m a huge advocate for learning beyond the classroom walls, and you’ll often find me where the mess and excitement are—whether it’s in an art lesson, in the woodland area, or getting out on a school trip adventure!
We are ambitious for every member of our school family. We want our children to feel safe, loved, and inspired to be the very best they can be. We nurture curiosity, celebrate individuality, and encourage everyone to shine.
Growing spiritually together, everybody matters and anything is possible!

Welcome to The Bishop Fraser Trust
